Good ole rocky top

I have some catching up to do. A little over a week ago we headed east to see the Vols play Auburn. Saturday morning we packed up and were on our way. It was a beautiful day and the drive is always so pretty. Jeremy and I talked about how the drive used to seem so long. It had been four years since either one of us had been to a game. I can say this for the first time...I felt so O.L.D. We used to live on campus and it felt like home while we were there. It was a different feeling, but we had so much fun walking from tailgate to tailgate and bumping into old friends. Wow, how times have changed!

This picture is so funny to me because Brandon, Linlee's husband, is one of those guys that seems like he doesn't care what people think. Well, not on this day. We had to park his company car at the far end of G5. He was so embarrased that we were in this car. He was like, "we have four SUV's between us and we are taking this to tailgate in! We might as well drive a scooter into the stadium." Notice, there aren't any other cars around. There were later on. Here he is giving the thumbs up to the fusion. Jeremy playing a little corn hole
Enjoying being outside in the awesome weather

We ran into one of my best friends brother and his wife

Walking to the stadium. Beautiful night!

The power T!
I have never been in that stadium when it was so quiet. The game was horrible and we lost. Oh well, we had so much fun anyway! Hopefully it won't be another four years before we go back!

Nonna's birthday and first trip to the movies!

A week and half ago we got together at aunt BB and uncle Travis' house to celebrate Nonna's birthday. She was at the beach on her actual birthday, so we celebrated when she got back with burgers, homemade chips and a chunky monkey cake!

Here is Riley with the birthday girl

I think Jeremy was a fan of the cake. He has requested one for his b-day.

Keith with Endsley
We had a great time! Happy birthday Nonna!
The next day we had a movie date with Oliver, Georgia and Addison. This was Riley's first trip to a theatre. While I was getting ready, I hear over the monitor, "Oh, my belly, it's hurting!" I ran to see what was going on and find this...The camera happened to be sitting real close by. I think I may have to put a baby gate up. She loves to get in the bed with her baby sister. Anyhow, Nonna came to get Endsley and off to the movies we went. We went to see Toy Story 1 and 2 in 3-D. It was way too long for her. We made it through the first one and about 20 minutes of the second. She was ready to go.

Here are Riley and Addison checking out the goodsShe decided on the sour gummi worms

Munching on her treat and wearing the 3-D glasses...for maybe 30 seconds.
Oliver was in the zone.

By the way, I took these pictures during previews and was told by a nasty mom to "put the camera away!" Really, I'm sorry, it was my kids first time to the movies and I wanted to document it.:) I thought about it later and was like, Oh no...this is something I would have gotten mad at my mother for doing. I really think I am turning into her! AHHH!

5 months!

Today little Endsley turned 5 months old! Seriously, we are almost halfway to one year. I really don't know where the time goes and I feel like I say that all the time. Her personality continues to show and she is still such a pleasant baby. She is easy going and content unless she is hungry or tired. She lets you know what she wants. She is eating all the stage one vegetables and fruits. She prefers the bottle over the food, so we keep it close by when she is eating. She gets so mad if she doesn't get a drink after a few bites. It's so funny to watch her when she finishes her bottle. She will follow it and stare at it. I've said this before, but she smiles all the time. She will smile at anyone. I can't recall a time where she hasn't. Riley wasn't like that. She was a very solemn baby. Endsley will grab anything in sight. At dinner the other night she was sitting in Jeremy's lap and kept reaching for his plate. If it is in her hand, it is going straight to her mouth. I keep feeling for teeth because of all her drool and wanting to chew on things. Nothing yet! She is also laughing a little bit. They are short little laughs, but oh so cute! She has had a runny nose for a week now. We are ready for that to end! She has drainage in her throat and it causes little choking spells that scare me to death. Her doctor doesn't seemed concerned though.

Here she is in her rocking chair
This is what happens when mommy is cleaning out her purse and big sister gets her hands on the security stickers from church.
Everything is in her mouth...
After her bath tonight

and getting ready for bed

Night, night sweet girl! Sleep tight!

Beach trip

A few weeks ago we headed down to the condo for our annual trip with the Swindells and some fun in the sun! I think this was Riley's seventh trip to the beach and Endsley's second. It's nice when the in laws have a place on the beach. Makes it super easy to go!:) The girls and I rode down with Nonna on Sunday. She came along to help babysit the kiddos. I bought a pop up potty and a piddle pad to take in the car. Riley did such a good job going potty. I was a little concerned, as this was our first road trip post potty training. She talked the whole way and couldn't decide which movie she wanted to watch. I can't count the times we switched from Barney to Elmo. I think she slept an hour out of the seven it took us to get there. Little E slept pretty much the whole way. I'm lucky to have good little travelers. Tol, Kelly and the boys made the trip that night as well. Jeremy joined us on Tuesday night. We had the best weather except for rain on the last day. That was o.k though. By that point we were pooped from being lazy for 6 days! It was awesome. We would wake up, have coffee, eat breakfast, go to the beach or pool, eat lunch, nap, go back out and then go to dinner. Can't wait to go back!

Here are Riley and Tol in the hot tub. Many hours were spent swimming and diving in there! Tol did all the diving for Riley's blue carebear that she would throw and tell him to go get.
Here are Yates, Riley and Tol in the elevator. Notice the hand holding. They held hands everywhere we went!
Endsley hanging out in the swing

Riley with her diva like shades

The little princess has it so hard!

Endsley's first time in the pool. She loved it!

Of course, I had to get a pic with her!

This was a first. She played in the sand willingly for the first time...ever. It might or might not have had something to do with Tol and Yates playing as well.

E's first time to sit on the beach. This was the only hat that Sandy could find for her to wear. It reminded me of Strawberry Shortcake:)

First time to play in the ocean and she would only get in with Nonna.

Jeremy and I

It was nice to go out to dinner in peace one night. Nonna stayed in with the kiddos.

Riley and I playing in the pool

We stayed in one night to watch the Titans game and eat pizza. Do you see the pizza all over my little cowgirls face?
Here is little Tol with his tat...
and Riley with hers

We went down to play with cousin Cole at his condo. They had the coolest kiddie area that we thought the kids would love. We were wrong. That trip was a bad idea. The kids were going crazy that day!

Riley and Endsley having a sweet sister moment

Singing Barney after dinner

After dinner we met up with these two. Linlee and Brandon happened to be at the beach for a business trip. Linlee is a friend of mine from college.

Fun times had by all!

This was taken right before we left. I just love the Swindell family's facial expressions.

There were a lot of funny moments, but this one stands out in my mind and I need to document. On Monday we put Tol and Riley on the bottom bunk to see if they would nap together. They did, so we thought we would let them sleep together at night, as they are both wild sleepers. We put a little Barney on and tucked them in. Not a good idea...they chatted for an hour. At one point I went to the door to listen. Riley was saying, "You see my big toe, look at my big toe." I went back to the couch to watch t.v with Kelly and fell asleep, only to be woken up by Kelly saying Riley wanted to sleep with me. Off to my bed we went. We laid down and Riley says, "momma, Tol touch my face like this. Tol rub my hair like this and momma Tol, he, he kissed me on my mouf. He kissed me on my mouf. He just kissed me on my nose and he kissed me on my mouf." Who knew you had to worry about these things with a two and three year old. No more bunk beds for them!!
It was a great trip. Can't wait to see what the kids do next year!

Big Ole

This is what Riley prefaces everything with. Literally. Examples...

*"Mama, I want a bite...a big ole one"
*"There's my church. It's a big ole church"
*As I am putting toothpaste in her tooth brush, "Gimme a big ole one"
*"Look at that big ole truck"
*Poop, I know it's gross, but we all do it. It's a big topic with her! When she goes, she is proud! "That's a big ole poop"
*She has a sippy cup with her name on it. She refers to this as her "big ole cup"

This is all I can think of at the moment. Just wanted to document because she says this all the time and we think it's funny!

Dancing Queen

Thanks to cousin Ashley, Thursday was Riley's first day to attend dance class! I am so excited, for myself and her! haha! I love girly things and love that she is of the age to do fun stuff. She was so excited to go, even though she had no clue as to what dance class was all about. She started crying when I left her, but it didn't last long. They have a television that you can watch them on in the waiting room. This place is no joke! The class is 45 minutes long and they practice ballet, jazz and tumbling. Riley was pretty much in her own world, just staring, moving her dot around, throwing it in the air...you know, exactly what she was supposed to be doing! She did do the hop and bear crawl. Her teacher said this was typical the first time. She said she had a good time and thought her teacher was pretty!

Here she is in her dancing gear minus ballet shoes. We still need to purchase these...
Not wanting to have her picture taken anymore

Running around after class

I think she's going to like this

She might like her teacher so well because she handed out suckers and stamps when class ended. The girl loves her suckers!

Watch out people...I think we may see her on DWTS one day...or whatever is on TV in 16 or 17 years!
