A beautiful day!

Yesterday, after I picked Riley up from school we headed straight to the park! The weather couldn't have been any better. I couldn't wait to soak up some of this sunshine. This was Endsley's first "official" trip. She went when she was tiny and in the sling, so this was a new experience. She loved the swing! Especially swinging with her big sister.

Endsley wasn't so sure about the mulch. She wanted to eat it.

Climbing the rock wall was a first for Riley. She did it over and over and over!

We stayed at the park for two hours and then headed home for more play time in the driveway.

Endsley loves riding in this with Riley. I strap her in and she is good to go!

Sisterly love

As I was walking out of the park with my two little lovelies, I couldn't help but think about how blessed I am. I have two perfect little girls and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Lord for blessing me with these sweet angels!

"You like carrots?"

Riley playing in the cabinet while I am cooking dinner. Her conversation to her soccer ball and cinderella ball... "You like carrots? You like broccoli? You like mushrooms? O.k, I'll get you some mushrooms." The next thing I see is her little hand pop out of the bottom of the cabinet, pretending to grab mushrooms.

Riley's first soccer game

Things didn't start out so great. The uniforms were given out at the field, so I had to dress he when we got there. She wasn't too happy about it. I wasn't about to fight the shin guard and sock issue. Team prayer before the game.

Papa came to see all the action! Cece had market and couldn't make it. He was warming her hands because it was so cold. As Riley would say, "I'm gonna get freeze, mom!"

The crying didn't last long. Once she got over the uniform she had a blast!

Not sure about all this shaking hands business with the other team. They all looked so confused.

I wasn't prepared for the chilly conditions, so Endsley had to wear Riley's sweatshirt.

Hanging with Henry and Oliver... This will be our Saturday morning for the next month and half! Yeah for spring!!

A favorite "toy"

She can be found just about anytime of the day with one of these in her hands. It doesn't matter what is laying around, she goes for these!

Chill out

I was in the bathroom getting ready for dinner tonight when Riley walked in with her huge purse and baby doll that Nonna had gotten for her the day before. She said, " I want to go sit in the car and just chill out." Excuse me? When did you turn fifteen?! I said no and this is what happened.

Gotta love the drama of a three year old little girl!

Too much fun with the paint

I am so sad that I did not think to snap a quick pic when these guys had their clothes on. Houston and Riley had been upstairs playing in the play room when all of a sudden they appear at the bottom of the steps with clothes covered in green paint. It was all over their shirts, pants and hands. Thankfully, it is washable paint and came out of the clothes. It did not want to come out of the carpet though! A professional will have to take care of that. Who could be mad at these two though? They are just too cute! Off to the tub they went... You can still see a little of the green paint on Riley's hand

Or as Riley would say, "Say, Say." Mom's birthday was on the twenty-sixth, so the girls and I took her to a new tea room in the area. The food was delicious. Riley was on her best behavior and drank water out of the china cup with help from CeCe. Sorry Endsley...the man taking the photo totally cut half of you out. At least we have proof that you were there.:)

10 months, five days

I completely skipped the 9 month post. I am trying to get my blogging act back together! Just before she turned 9 months she started standing on her own. She can't get to this position unless we help her or she pulls up on something. It is so cute. Her little legs start shaking. She's still very unsure.

This was around 9 and a half months. She has been saying "bye bye." She will wave her hand when she says it. I am not a fool to believe that she knows what she is actually saying, but she "says" it. She also muttered a little "da da da" in the car on Saturday. Mom and I were talking when she picked up on the babble coming from the back seat. Adorable!

She has also started eating Cheerios. She has been eating crackers for a while, but now that she has that pincer grasp down she can eat these all day long. Loves them! They are a wonderful distraction while and I am cooking or while we eat dinner!

Riley never held her own bottle. I liked holding it for her. It was the one time that I could keep her still in my lap. Jeremy informed me that he had been letting her hold it a little. So here she is holding the bottle like a big girl. I am not a fan of this. I still hold it for her:)

Then there is the sippy cup. She loves this as well. There's not much that she doesn't like. Although, spitting her water out has become a little game with her.

Two weeks ago she took her first steps. Still not walking a lot but takes some steps here and there. She is into absolutely everything that she shouldn't be into. The only thing in the house that was baby proofed with Riley was the sockets. I have a feeling we will be baby proofing a lot with this one and real soon. Some things she constantly gets into or her hands on...toilet, bathroom trash cans, shoes, toilet paper, garbage bags in the pantry, mop bucket cords and our laundry basket. There a ton of toys for her to play with and she chooses these. She is also cutting her first tooth at this very moment. We have been able to see the tip for a week now. After keeping us up last night, I'm hoping that sucker will come on through! Happy 10 months baby girl! Love you!

Valentine's Day

The Friday before Valentine's day, we started the day off with a church play date at Let it Shine. Afterwards, we went to the Harrell's for more playtime and lunch. I had no idea it would be so, ah hem, elaborate! haha. I should have known...Kelly is real cute and bubbly. Lets just say she was REAL excited about some Valentines Day! Here is the lunch she made for the kids...take note of the heart shaped Pb&j and jello...

Somehow I missed taking pics of Oliver, Georgia and Graham. Kelly, you know I am totally picking with you about your "festiveness"! Is that a word?! I wish I could be more creative like that!

We spent Saturday at a birthday party for Yates that I don't have any pictures from. We came home to Valentine's from Cece on the porch. Riley was so excited! Can you tell?

Endsley's first Valentines Day!
