Quotes

These are some things that Riley has said that I don't want to forget...

The way she pronounces yogurt..."ogarit"

The way she used to pronounce Muffin (our dog)...."mutta"

When we went to the zoo she called it the "zoop"

When talking about alligators, she referred to them as "aldigators"

She has the most country accent and calls my mother "say say"...supposed to pronounced Cece

When Endsley was born she was a little jealous. She said to me one day, "I need milk." I bring a sippy cup to her and she says, "Feed me. Burp me."

This is gross, but any mother knows that you have to wear large pads after child birth. Well, Riley saw mine and said, "mommy got a diaper too?" "I'll get you a new diaper, mommy." She did this EVERY time I went to the bathroom. Going to the bathroom alone is non-existent.:)

Another quote, "where's your poo pood mommy?"

After I said a prayer for someone's son in our SS class with her she said, "That was good mama."

That is all I can think of right now. There are so many more. I will have to write them down as they come to me.

Catching up

I guess I can start off with a little recap of our summer. It started off crazy with a new baby, selling our house seven days later, moving in with my parents for a month and then moving! Things have settled down and I am enjoying my new job of being a stay at home mommy. There are days when Riley has asked me the same question 500 times (that she already knows the answer to) that I want to pull my hair out. It's all worth it though. I wouldn't trade this time with them for anything! So, here are some pictures of what we have been up to this summer...

after stalking blog after blog, I have decided to start one for our family! I wish so bad that I had started this when Riley was born because I have forgotten so many things. Endsley is four months and time is flying. Better late than never, right?! This blogging deal is clearly going to take time to get used to. I have no idea what I am doing.
